Back in 2006 Czar flew me up to NY to record for a month. I got with Gucci and ran through some beats...when he heard this DJ Toomp track he got excited and started formulating the hook. This is me on my ignorant shit. When I got back to Florida I started gearing up for my "Destined for Greatness" Mixtape hosted by Rick Ross and had all of my tracks on his harddrive. Unfortunately a few months later his harddrive crashed and this is the only version of this record that exists now.I really hate when shit like that happenes. All that hard work, just to lose it all.
Man I Miss when it use to be Jim and Max.
They made excellent music.
This is pre-beef era.

I remember when AR and Peiso showed me the video with Boosie dancing to this song.
HILARIOUS!

Funny thing. We were at the W with JW doing an interview and the whole CTE camp was under a bungalo chillin. I'm sure iblog126 couldn't got a cameo if we chilled longer. Oh well

DJ Am, real name Adam Goldstein, was found dead in his New York City apartment today (August 28). The popular disc jockey was discovered about 5:20 PM. Goldstein's friends reportedly became concerned when none of them had heard from him in several days. One went to check on him, but didn't get him after going straight to the apartment room. The police broke into the apartment after the unnamed friend called them. They found him unresponsive and determined that he was dead. The last thing he said via his Twitter account was, "New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems." Almost a year ago in September 2008, DJ AM and Travis Barker survived a plane crash in South Carolina. Both men were badly burned and were the only ones that made it out alive. Reports say that there were drug materials in the home and that it may have played a factor in his death. He was 36 years old. More details will be released as they develop.
You can see Nas was getting irate after awhile lol.

Nas was doing his best to keep up, and at one point, Nardwuar even reveals that
Biggie once fell asleep due to the fact that Nas’ freestyle went on for way too
long. Although Nas’ selective/weed head memory didn’t remember that . Nardwuar
basically composed his very own “Where Are They Now” right in front of Nas but
he sorta lost it towards the end, after Nardwuar mentioned the J.J. Evans line from “Ether.”

If you listen to watch the news, you've probably heard the story of the gang rape involving a mother and her son in West Palm Beach.

Grant says the funding crunch is partially to blame, but the decision to end Reading Rainbow can also be traced to a shift in the philosophy of educational television programming. The change started with the Department of Education under the Bush administration, he explains, which wanted to see a much heavier focus on the basic tools of reading -- like phonics and spelling.
Grant says that [the Public Broadcasting Service], [the Corporation for Public Broadcasting] and the Department of Education put significant funding toward programming that would teach kids how to read -- but that's not what Reading Rainbow was trying to do.
"Reading Rainbow taught kids why to read," Grant says. "You know, the love of reading -- [the show] encouraged kids to pick up a book and to read."

"I wish I had a 9 to 5 job instead of the nightmare I'm living. This is 24/7. I don't even want to do taping for the show anymore. I have two houses and eight children to take care of and I need to work."
